Aux Lieux Dits 2017 A little hesitant at first, the wine quickly finds its ease in the glass. Red fruit on the nose, a little nougat… On the palate it quickly reveals its real assets: dark fruits, sweet spices, as well as a vivid freshness, together with fine and well integrated tannins. Young, crisp and fiery, a beautiful ambassador of the vintage in Gigondas.
Clos Derrière Vieille 2017 This wine from a vineyard perched above the medieval village of Gigondas presents typical characteristics (...)
As already in 2016, the two white wines were entirely made without addition of sulfur and have since shown an undreamt evolution of aromatic finesse and complexity. Only a small amount of sulfur (10 mg / L) is added during bottling to help the wines overcome this final, crucial stage.
Le Cèdre Héritage blanc 2018 This wine shows a full bouquet of exotic fruits, butter and citrus oil, gradually adding delicate floral scents. Pleasant smoothness accompanies the outstanding freshness on the (...)
Together with my brother, we have been working the vineyards and making wine in Cahors for over 30 years. A cyclical life, in the rhythm of nature and seasons. But no two years are alike and each vintage brings new questions, surprises and successes.
As you may know, over the past decade, the part of sulfur-free wines in our cellars had been steadily growing . This was especially possible thanks to the outstanding work of my brother Jean-Marc and his team in the vineyards. Every year, we (...)
It’s fairly rare for nature to exceed winemakers’ expectations two years in a row, but this was the case in the Rhone Valley with the 2015 and 2016 vintages.
Almost as if 2016 had taken the previous vintage as a yardstick and then attempt to surpass it and reach out for perfection. With a mild winter, a wet spring and a hot summer, 2016 was moderate from a meteorological point of view. But this moderation proved to be the perfect catalyst for a slow and steady ripening of the grapes which (...)

DENSE, STRUCTURED AND WILD Due to its nature, the Cuvée GC initially holds back. Built for long cellaring, it doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to play all its cards. Carefully and calmly it takes a deep breath before he starts to reveal its traits. While the bouquet first is full of spice and savagery, dark fruity notes gradually take over. Lemon peels bring in some zest, peppermint and wild pepper give ease and depth. Clear tannins, radiant acidity, soft, broad structure ... Let him meditate (...)
continueSometimes it takes time to do things very well. Those who love wine, literature and music will not contradict me ...
I remember well Jean Vignier, always sitting in the office and tasting room of the Champagne house Paul Lebrun, chatting with customers and friends, sometimes faithful for several generations to the estate. An office, that no longer exists by the way, because the estate and the cellar have been thoroughly redesigned and modernized in recent years. Now the cellar is (...)
Mainly grown in the Mediterranean wine regions of France and Spain, this old grape variety already belongs for a long time to the top 10 of the most planted grape varieties in the world. Like other famous grape varieties, such as Pinot or Grenache, it comes in different varieties: red, grey and white. Carignan wines therefore also carry different colors: white, rosé and red, with the latter dominating. Made from very old, middle-aged or young vineyards (as people are replanting Carignan for (...)
continueIn the production of our «Terroir» Champagne we find our balance, our style. Our choice for these wines is based on a selection of vineyards where we only grow Chardonnay. Every year the wines are produced according to a simple and respectful protocol, to emphasize the pure character of the fruit and its origin: fermentation exclusively of the first pressing in stainless steel tanks, malolactic fermentation and Dosage Extra Brut (5 g / L) for all wines. Reserve wines are only used for our (...)
continueQuite simply: Drink wine from Pierre Cros! The talented and visionary winegrower from the Minervois prevented our tormenting choice when he created his cuvée “Entre la Vigne et la Mer” (between the vineyards and the sea) years ago, inspired by the rhymes of a local young rapper named TOAN. A sleek yet efficient blend of Syrah and Mourvèdre, terroir and hip hop, a truly modern and universal wine.
After first offering an intense, down-to-earth bouquet of black currants, sour cherries and a hint (...)
