Clos Derrière Vieille 2017
This wine from a vineyard perched above the medieval village of Gigondas presents typical characteristics common to high altitude terroirs. Straight, long and fine, with tannins of remarkable accuracy, driven by crystalline minerality coming directly from the limestone rocks of the Dentelles de Montmirail. The rich and intense bouquet presents a red fruit coulis, a little bay leaf, as well as fresh undergrowth ... A wine of real delicacy. This Gigondas reaches out to Burgundy.
