Rhone 2010: very good!
Was the comment the Belgian Wine magazine In Vino Veritas gave to describe the 2010 vintage in their November issue, adding “to be checked in the glass…”

That’s what we have done for you in the cellars of Santa Duc. We wrote about our first, positive impressions of the vintage already shortly after harvest: Late picking of ripe and healthy grapes. The perfect ripeness is now being confirmed in the glass: Good balance between power and freshness, with intense aromas in the nose and on the palate.

Now that winter has arrived in our cellars, the Gigondas, Hautes-Garrigues, Santa Roc and our first Chateauneuf-du-Pape slowly ripen in their concrete tanks, barrels and wooden tanks (3000Liters), the number of which we have stocked up this year. A period of rest the wines deserve, and a good start for their ripening…
